The process of human change begins within us. We all have tremendous potential. We all desire good results from our efforts. Most of us are willing to work hard and to pay the price that success and happiness demand.
Each of us has the ability to put our unique human potential into action and to acquire a desired result. But the one thing that determines the level of our potential, that produces the intensity of our activity and predicts the quality of the result we receive, is our attitude.

We had an amazing team of over 350 volunteers that served tiredlessly for five days down at Lakefair this year. It was a such an amazing opportunity for our church to serve our community, build relationships with each other, and be an example of Christ's love. Our church made a difference in so many peoples lives by everyone's desire to make themselves available and be willing to serve. A special thank you to everyone that that was involved. I came across the other day the twelve most persuasive words and word combinations in the English dictionary. What do you think of these, do you agree?
Words: You, Money, Save, New, Results, Easy, Health, Safety, Love, Discovery, Proven, Guarentee.
Word Combinations: Thank You, Would You Please, What Do You Think, and I Am Proud Of You.

Just read a great article from a guy I admire Jim Rohn. He shared some very interesting points about facing the enemies within you. He said people are not born with fear or courage. Fear is one of our most apparent enemies and is learned through personal experience, circumstances, or situations. Courage is what comes out as these fears are faced.
Other enemies we face from within are: indifference, indecision, doubt, worry, and over-caution.
I could not help to think of the verse in Joshua that says, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
Another one I found in Deuteronomy 31:6, Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."

On Sunday we successfully launched our first service at the Lacey Cinemas for Easter. Several volunteers showed up at 7:00 in the morning with an extra hop in their step. Everyone was so excited about doing something new and could not wait to see how many people were going to show up for the 9:45 service. At 9:15 people started driving up and by 9:45 there was standing room only in the theater...Praise the Lord! This was such a great day for Living Water and also for the community. We officially launch our ongoing service at the theater on May 3rd beginning at 9:45. This venue includes live worship, a video of the message, and amazing Children's Ministies. If you are interested in joining this amazing team at the theater or want to find out more information about hooking up with a team for another campus launch in the future, let me know. Special thanks to Pastor Tim (Lacey Campus Pastor) and his team for all their hard work and dedication to making this service a go!

Just finished reading a blog from Dave Furgeson, the Lead Pastor of Community Christian Church. He shares about how he tracks the ongoing health of his church through the "Dashboard". I really like the way they have used this as a tool to track how they are doing as a church in relation to what is important to them. Check it out URL: http://www.christianstandard.com/articledisplay.asp?id=1009.

We just had our baby girl born on Tuesday, January 6th at 5:31 a.m. She was 9lbs and 11oz along with being 23 inches long. Both mom and baby are doing well - now just catching up on some rest. Check out the photo album for some pictures. Thank you all for your prayers and support.
