Just read a great article from a guy I admire Jim Rohn. He shared some very interesting points about facing the enemies within you. He said people are not born with fear or courage. Fear is one of our most apparent enemies and is learned through personal experience, circumstances, or situations. Courage is what comes out as these fears are faced.
Other enemies we face from within are: indifference, indecision, doubt, worry, and over-caution.
I could not help to think of the verse in Joshua that says, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
Another one I found in Deuteronomy 31:6, Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."
